Thursday January 10th, Toby played with GUN as the front man as part of the bill at the Garage in Glasgow to celebrate the first birthday of Rock Radio FM.

The event was staged by the station and was in aid of the Nordoff Robbins charity that helps musicians in need and uses music therapy to help children overcome learning and behavioural problems.

The Show also featured Scottish band Logan, Dougie White (one time singer for Rainbow), Ricky Warwick and Stumpy, Thunder, the sensational Alex Harvey band, Toby (acoustic set) and was headlined by GUN.

Reports of the show from all concerned are saying how fantastic the GUN set was, it has been 10 years since the last time the band played live and along with Toby featured brothers Joolz and Dante along with founder member Alan behind the kit. The set contained 5 songs from the bands history. They opened with ‘Welcome to the real world’ followed by ‘Better Days’, ‘Steal your fire’, ‘Taking on the world’ and finished with ‘Word Up’ The band returned to the stage after a rapturous reception to replay ‘Steal your fire’ complete with stage invasion by the rock Jocks from the station.

By all accounts a massive thumbs up for the show and the event. There were immediate rumours that more GUN shows are planned but as yet nothing officially confirmed so watch this space for developments.
